Bebe: 4y/o Spaniel Mix Needs Rescue/Foster!
Bebe Needs Rescue/Foster
4 Years, 26lbs
Meet Bebe, a 4-year-old spaniel mix in need of rescue. Originally brought into our care as a stray in 2022, she was adopted shortly after. Unfortunately, her story did not end as we had hoped, and she has since returned to our care.
Her previous family describes Bebe as a quirky, fun-loving girl with so much love to give. She is reported to be housebroken and non-destructive when left unattended. Bebe can be wary of strangers and new people, but with time and patience, she is capable of building strong bonds with her caregivers.
Bebe has been described as selective with other dogs. While she is polite when greeting dogs on walks, she did not cohabitate well with the two other dogs in her previous home, so she may do best as the only dog in the household. Additionally, she has shown signs of isolation distress—pacing and whining when separated from her people—though she is able to settle when left completely alone.
We are hopeful that a dedicated rescue partner will be able to step in and help this special girl find the stable, loving home she deserves. If your rescue is able to assist, please reach out.
If you can foster Bebe and have room in your home and heart, until she finds a furever home, please let us know at Charlie to the Rescue! Go to https://www.charliedog.org/services and fill out a short inquiry. We will try to find a rescue that can help you get her out of the shelter and support her financially while in your care.

I live in Canada. Can you ship a dog for rehoming to Atlantic Canada? If there was a photo, I missed it. Bebe Spaniel mix, needs rescue. From Charlie Dog. Somehow, I copied down your coordinates and receive your voicemails here in Atlantic Canada. I had a Portuguese WaterDog mix (I think.)for three years, a rescue, but he really wanted to live with 1). Children 2). More adults. Daily, I took him hiking on the mountain behind the house or along the river trail, and he was happy for quite a while. But he wanted more people. Reluctantly, I found a family with kids for him. He’s happy. I’m lonely. If you have a dog who would be delighted to be rehomed with a devoted older woman living near the seashore in Atlantic Canada, I have a home here.
