Meet Kuzco! Kuzco came to the shelter as a stray. Unfortunately this is not his first time here, he was also here as a stray in 2025. Kuzco is a friendly happy go lucky pup who is happy to greet anybody he sees. He needs a bit of work on learning to keep all 4 feet on the ground but he is motivated by high value treats. He is friendly with strangers and seems positively interested in other dogs. Unfortunately, Kuzco showed some lameness of his right hind leg. We have started him on medication and cage rest with brief walks to hopefully get him all healed up. Radiographs and further diagnostics may be needed to determine the extent of an injury though if his lameness does not resolve. Due to his current medical needs we are looking to place him with a rescue organization to ensure his medical needs are met and appropriately cared for.
