Can You Save Ember? - Baltimore, MD
If you can provide a loving foster home for Ember, please go to https://www.charliedog.org/services and let us know, we will try to find a rescue to work with you to pull and sponsor Ember while in your care.
Ember - unaltered female, 7yo, 25.6lbs
Ember was found in heartbreaking condition outside a Baltimore City fire station. Firefighters returning from a fire discovered her lying on a gray jacket, alert and wagging her tail, but clearly weak. When the animal control officer arrived, Ember had been moved inside the station and covered with a white blanket, but she struggled to stand even with help and had to be carried to the AC truck.
Ember is emaciated, weak, and has poor muscling, and she also has a broken canine. Otherwise, she appears healthy, and a full medical summary is available upon request.
Despite everything she’s endured, Ember is alert and wagging her tail, a testament to her sweet and resilient spirit. She needs a medical foster or rescue who can provide supportive care, help her regain strength, and give her the safe, calm environment she deserves.

I rescued a pit bull from there who was also completely emaciated and dehydrated and now absolutely beautiful. I would love to have a buddy for him. I will be in contact if I can get anyone to answer when I call. This lady is gorgeous and deserves a good chance at life! Carol Nelson @ 443-803–6174
