Even with these medical concerns, Pepper still has a bright spirit and a good quality of life right now. She has good teeth for her age, normal energy levels, and is still enjoying attention and care.
Pepper: unaltered female, 14yo, 9lbs
Pepper was surrendered by her owners after they could no longer afford the medical care she desperately needs. Despite everything going on, Pepper remains friendly, easy to handle, and continues to eat, drink, and interact normally.
Pepper has a very large mammary gland tumor located near her last mammary gland on the left side of her body. Recently, she has also been vomiting more frequently, including episodes in the car and at home overnight. She will need chest radiographs to evaluate for possible spread of disease, as well as surgical removal of the mass if she is a candidate.
Even with these medical concerns, Pepper still has a bright spirit and a good quality of life right now. She has good teeth for her age, normal energy levels, and is still enjoying attention and care.
Pepper needs rescue support willing to pursue diagnostics and surgical treatment so she can have a chance at comfort and stability moving forward.
A full medical summary can be provided upon request.
