Excitable Handsome Pittie! Seeking Rescue or Foster! (Baldwin, MD)
Meet PJ! PJ came to the shelter as a stray and has proven to be quite a friendly pup so far but is a bit excitable here in his kennel. He can be jumpy at times and will need work on keeping his focus for training and structure. He will need work on leash manners as well as he can pull a bit hard. This is actually PJ’s second time here at the shelter so we know he is eager to leave this place behind for good! When previously here he did well in playgroup and has a rough/rowdy playstyle but was steerable. With some consistent work we are sure PJ’s high energy and jumpiness will improve so we are hoping to place him with a rescue organization asap to get him out of the shelter. PJ is also available for foster placement so we can see how his behaviors are in a home setting versus in the stressful shelter.
