Hospice Placement Needed for Andromeda (“Andi”)
Andromeda, lovingly called Andi, is a 10-year-old female who has captured every heart she’s met. Despite her age, Andi is still full of life and joy. She loves playing ball, soaking up sunshine, and leaning into anyone willing to give her a good butt scratch (she’ll even sit on you to keep them coming!).
Andi is a confident, affectionate girl who knows what she wants and communicates it in the sweetest ways. She’s okay with cats and open to meeting calm, respectful dogs for a proper introduction.
Sadly, Andi has an inoperable tumor, and we are seeking a rescue partner willing to provide hospice placement. What she needs now is a soft, loving place for her to spend her remaining time. She feels good right now, is active, and enjoys every moment of attention and affection. We want her final days to be filled with comfort, not kennels.
Medical Overview:
X-rays show age-related arthritis and spinal changes, but no neurological issues.
Tumor on right front leg is inoperable due to closure limitations.
Pain is well managed with carprofen at this time.
Full medical summary and images are available upon request.
Andi’s bright spirit hasn’t dimmed; she still greets everyone with a tail wag and joy in her heart. She deserves a peaceful, loving home to rest in.
Transport can be arranged to an approved rescue.
If you can open your doors to Andromeda and provide her the comfort and dignity she deserves, please contact the Humane Society of Washington County.
