Dory (Dior)- 4 y/o, unaltered female, 27lbs
Dory (Dior) is new here and we are still getting to know her. We can already say that she is the sweetest little girl. She is extremely affectionate and is looking for someone who is ready to give her all the care and love she needs to get back to her healthy weight.
Upon examination, our vets noted that Dory has dental disease, overgrown nails, pressure sores, an open wound with exposed bone at the end of her tail, and she is emaciated with a body condition score of 1/9 and no discernible body fat. She was started on a strict refeeding schedule to help her gain weight safely, as well as pain management and topical antibiotics, and a tail amputation will be needed. A full medical summary can be provided upon request.
Dory is currently on stray hold and will be available for rescue pick-up on 6/9.
