Meet Betty! Betty is one of our longest term residents and has been waiting since before Christmas to make her break from the shelter! Betty is a 6-year-old sweetheart who just needs a moment to take it all in. She can be a little timid at first, but give her a second to check you out and her true personality shines through. Once she feels comfortable, Betty is affectionate and friendly—rubbing up against you for pets and happily soaking up your attention.
This lovely girl enjoys batting around toys during playtime and then settling in for some quality relaxation, especially from a windowsill where she can watch the world go by. She has a calm, gentle presence that makes her a wonderful companion.
Betty was found as a stray with another cat and they have been getting along swimmingly in our free roam room together. Betty would love a calm kitty companion in her new home too but would also be content being your one and only!
Betty is overweight so will need to go on a weight loss journey in her new home!
