Looking for a little luck this St. Patrick’s season? Meet Remy, a 7-year-old, 52 lb English Bulldog hoping the luck of the Irish leads her to a loving home.
Remy came to the shelter through no fault of her own and is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. She knows the commands sit and down, walks nicely on a leash, and would make a wonderful companion for leisurely strolls and cozy couch time.
This charming girl loves her stuffy toys and will happily bring them to you for a game of fetch. Remy is reported to be housebroken, and crate trained, though she may need a little patience while adjusting to a new routine.
Remy is said to do well with children and other dogs with slow introductions, but she should not go to a home with cats. She can be a bit of an escape artist, so a secure yard or leash walking is recommended.
When Remy arrived at the shelter, she was treated for hookworms, a urinary tract infection, and ear infections. She is feeling much better now, though future vet visits involving her ears or nail trims may go more smoothly with mild sedatives.
Remy’s biggest wish is simple: a home where she can spend plenty of time with her people, soaking up love and sharing her sweet personality.
