and let us know, Charlie to the Rescue! will try to find a rescue to work with you to pull and pay the expenses for Violet, while in your care.
Violet (A525330) is a sweet, affectionate young girl who urgently needs rescue placement to heal properly from a leg fracture — and she is so loved that she has $400 in pledged funds available to any approved 501c3 rescue that pulls her.
At just 1 year and 10 months old, this 68lb spayed female is full of life and love. Despite her injury, Violet is incredibly friendly and social — greeting everyone with tail wags, kisses, and by leaning in for hugs. She’s treat-motivated, eager to learn, and has already been working on basic training games like Touch and “1-2-3.” She walks nicely through hallways, engages happily with toys, and settles well with a chew. She even met another dog with a loose, wiggly body.
Violet is understandably energetic and becoming increasingly stressed in the shelter environment, where strict rest is nearly impossible. While she can be jumpy and mouthy in her excitement, she does settle with time and affection.
She urgently needs a calm, structured environment where her activity can be limited to bathroom breaks to ensure a full recovery. The shelter is simply too busy and overstimulating for her to heal.
Violet is currently RESCUE ONLY while recovering. She is a loving, resilient girl who just needs a chance to rest, heal, and thrive.
Please let us know if you're able to help Violet heal.
