Meet Twilight! Twilight is a sweet, treat-motivated girl who loves engaging with people and soaking up attention. She’s happy to show off her playful personality and is always eager for praise and affection. Though she can pull a little on the leash, she’s overall an easy walking companion and stays focused on her own fun, ignoring other dogs as they pass by.
Twilight is still settling into the routine at the shelter, but she’s already starting to greet people at her kennel door with a wiggly, happy body, eagerly waiting for her turn to go outside. She loves her walks, the chance to explore, and every bit of positive attention she can get. Twilight also did very well live with children her in her previous home. Twilight came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to no longer having the time to care for. We are sure Twilight misses being in a home and we would love to see her back in one soon!
Twilight presented to our veterinarian team with a low body score upon arrival with some wasting in her hind. She also had lick granulomas on both front legs with cauliflower ears (likely from an ear infection). She seems to be healing well so far but if the condition continues or reoccurs, she may need further follow up with a veterinarian.
Twilight would love to start the year off right, outside of the shelter and in a home! Twilight is available for rescue or adoption through the shelter!
