Rescue Placement Request: Senora May – Gentle, Fearful Mixed Breed with Blue Eyes

Senora May is a wonderful mixed-breed dog who is urgently in need of rescue placement.

Senora May is approximately 4 years old with the most striking blue eyes—eyes that seem to tell her whole story. The shelter environment has been overwhelming for her; the barking and chaos around her are simply too much. When she’s uncomfortable, she freezes in fear, unable to move forward on her leash. But once she feels safe, she melts into the people she trusts, leaning in for gentle cuddles and quiet comfort.

Even through her fear, Senora May has been nothing but sweet and cooperative. She’s allowed staff to administer her medications, vaccines, and even a full bath, letting us scrub her down without resistance. She’s currently on metronidazole for diarrhea, and a full medical summary is available upon request.

Senora May needs a calm, patient rescue that can offer her the chance to decompress, gain confidence, and rediscover security outside the stressful shelter environment. She’s the kind of dog who just needs time, safety, and soft voices to remind her that people can be trusted.
