Sweet Orange Tabby- Surrendered due to children in home- Seeking Rescue!
Meet Cheese! Cheese came to the shelter as an owner surrender after her was becoming territorial and jealous of the newborn and also started exhibiting those new behaviors towards the second youngest in the home. They often noted he would defecate and urinate on clothing items of the children’s. They said he may even abstain from eating when the kids were around because he felt nervous. He did live with another cat in the home and did well though. Cheese should go to a calm home with no young kids based on this history. Here at the shelter Cheese is a calm, sweet boy who we are sure just wants to be back in a loving home.
Cheese presented to our veterinarian staff with conjunctivitis and inflammation of the lower conjunctiva of his right eye. We have started him on a treatment plan and medication and are hoping to see improvements! Due to his current medical needs he is only available for rescue placement or foster through the shelter while on this treatment.
