Sweet Senior Needs Rescue/Foster!
Swizzle- Male, 10yo, 12lbs
Swizzle came to us as a lost stray on 4/8 and is now hoping for a rescue to scoop him up! He was found running at large outside the finder’s home, pacing along the sidewalk as if he were waiting for someone to return. He has done well with a pit bull mix, ignored the finder’s cat, and interacted with a 10 year old child. This sweet older guy has been a gentle, loving presence with our medical staff, showing patience despite his health challenges.
Swizzle has a 2/6 heart murmur, an abnormal hind-end gait (and may need radiographs to better understand it), cataracts that affect his vision, a possible collapsing trachea, and a tracheal cough. Despite these challenges, Swizzle remains affectionate and deserving of a loving home where he can feel safe and comfortable.
