Very Shutdown Mastiffy-Boy Needs Rescue- Baltimore, MD
If you can foster Arcanine and get him safe and out of the shelter, please email foster@charlietotherescue.org -- there is a rescue that can help him with an approved foster that can partner up with them!
Arcanine - unaltered male, 1.5yo, 96.2lbs
Meet Arcanine, a very gentle but LARGE boy who’s new here at BARCS.
This guy is so shutdown he had to be carried to his kennel here - all 96 pounds of him. He even requires a helper dog to get him to walk outside.
We desperately need a rescue for this guy as the shelter environment is not going to be one he’ll thrive in. He’s very gentle and absolutely ready to be anywhere else.
During intake he was marked as injured due to him completely shutting down and pancaking the entire duration of his exam. The exam showed no injures though and even went further to show he seems perfectly healthy.
We would love a rescue to take in this very gentle, very terrified soul.
Arcanine will be available for pick-up on 1/9 at 6PM.
Please let us know if your organization can help!
Thank you,

My dog is adopted from your facility and I am looking at the dog that I received info on today on Substack. I am trying very hard to try finding a home for the poor baby and need to ask a question.
It says that he is unaltered and I will be asked if will be altered before leaving there? Thanks very much,
