We are reaching out regarding Dexter, a 1-year, 4-month-old male Labrador Retriever who recently came into our care as an owner surrender due to behavioral concerns.

According to the owner, Dexter exhibits aggressive behavior primarily when it is time for him to go outside. He becomes reactive when attempts are made to leash or harness him, and he may respond aggressively to anything that startles or scares him. The owner reported that Dexter has bitten him several times; however, no skin was broken during these incidents.

Due to these behaviors, Dexter is designated as RESCUE ONLY.
