Meet Wyck – a beautiful 9-year-old brown tabby looking for a second chance.

Wyck was transferred to us from a partner shelter after being found as a stray, so her past remains a mystery. Upon arrival, we discovered a mass on her right hind leg, which has since been removed and thankfully was benign. She also had a wound of unknown origin that required a 45-day quarantine, which she has successfully completed. Wyck's right eye is cloudy with a scarred cornea.

Although we’ve only known Wyck for a short time, she’s endured quite a bit of change and uncertainty. During her stay, she’s spent time in foster homes where her caregivers learned that Wyck can become easily overstimulated—especially with prolonged petting. Her behavior can be a little conflicted: she seeks attention and affection but may swipe or nip if the interaction lasts longer than she prefers.

We’re hoping to find a rescue that can offer Wyck a safe, understanding, and comfortable environment where she can truly be herself.
